Elasticsearch Zone Awareness Disabled

Elasticsearch has zone awareness currently disabled. When you enable zone awareness, Amazon Elasticsearch allocates the nodes and replica index shards that belong to a cluster across two Availability Zones (AZs) in the same region to prevent data loss and minimize downtime in the event of node or data center failure. To enable zone awareness, your cluster must first have replica index shards and must not be configured as a single-node. To protect your Elasticsearch domain from data loss, zone awareness should be enabled.
